Africa Collective and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat are happy to announce African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank or the Bank) as their Host Partner at Davos 2025, on the margins of the World Economic Forum.

Africa Collective, with the AfCFTA Secretariat as patronage partner, scaled up its Davos presence during the time of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting between 15-19 January 2024, with the objective of providing a complementary platform to amplify and exchange on African topics at the gathering of world leaders.

The objective of the Africa Collective Davos agenda is to provide a complementary platform that creates even more space for discussion of African topics and themes, exploring the opportunities for driving economic growth on the African continent.

As part of its #RoadToDavos and #AfricaInDavos campaign, Africa Collective spoke with Matthew Harold, Head of External Affairs and Strategic Partnerships for Global Health at Novartis about how healthcare on the African continent will be impacted by key trends and how digitization provides an opportunity for the continent to play a role as an innovation hub, providing solutions for global value chains.
