Driven by the continental Commodities Strategy, a flagship project of the African Unions’ Agenda 2063, which was adopted in 2022, commodity-led industrialization is a priority across the African continent. This strategy, centering on agriculture, mining, and energy, seeks to harness the continent’s abundant resources to drive structural, social, and economic transformation.
