Health plays a significant role in societal well-being and is a key building block in sustainable economic development. On the African continent, investments in healthcare are made across the public and private sectors, through public-private partnerships, pan-African and global multilateral institutions, development finance projects and collective initiatives bridging critical gaps in access to healthcare services and treatment.
